Taoyuan American School (TYAS) has achieved Candidacy Status with the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC) and the Council of International Schools (CIS), marking an important step in our ongoing journey of growth, reflection, and continuous improvement. This status reflects the school's active engagement with internationally recognized standards and our commitment to strengthening the quality, safety, and effectiveness of the learning experience we provide. While candidacy is distinct from full accreditation, it offers our community assurance that TYAS is intentionally working through a rigorous developmental process, together with our students, families, faculty, staff, and leadership, toward becoming an even stronger and more responsive learning community.
